anyone built their own lowering blocks?

i have a 4/4 suspension drop on my 67 and the back is just sitting too high for my taste, so i want to lower it some more. all i have right now is a 4" drop coil. i am taking shop class at high school right now and i am not doing anything, so i was wondering if any of you guys have built 2" lowering blocks. if so, can you give me instructions or pictures.

thanks,
