Yep, Tim tightened the valves back down before sealing them back up. The cam is the one that was in the engine when I bought it and it was in good shape so I re used it.
Still needs some adjustments on the carb done, maybe advance the timing a bit, and gotta get the choke figured out. We have it hooked up to a hot wire right from the fuse box to the choke itself but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I would like to thank all you guys that helped us out last night. It just re-enforces the reasons why we keep coming back to this board everyday. Some of us, a couple dozen times a day Now we gotta get the damn throttle cable thing figured out so it can be driven
