The Discovery Phase Continues

Still working out kinks in 'Ol Blue... I've changed out spark plugs (they were nasty) along with wires. I also changed the in-carb fuel filter which honestly looked really clean.

She idles beautifully and does great at low speed ~35mph. If I go too fast, she will bog out and die and it's super hard to get her started again.

I have a carb rebuild kit on the way... the truck sat for quite awhile so that may be part of the problem. I've run 3 tanks of fuel so it isn't bad gas but who knows what trash may have been in the tank. I don't want to drop the tank just yet.

I dove into the glovebox and found the original warranty pamphlet from the dealer in 1977 along with the maintenance schedule. Nifty stuff!
