My friend with the cab already sold the dash, so I decided to press ahead with repairing my existing dash. I cut out the center section and welded in the patch panel using a gauge bezel and glovebox hinge to set the alignment. I have not started repairing the rust yet.

I installed the driver side rocker panel. Ran out of daylight. Got seam sealer and a coat of primer on it.
