Greetings, I'm excited to be here

It's been a while, since I first found this site and started reading through all of the various sections and threads. The amount of information here is simply staggering.

My GM truck background:

Dad had a 1971 Chevy K20, dark metallic green, which was brand new. I recall seeing it for the first time, it was wonderful. I spent a lot of right-seat time in that truck
while Dad plowed snow (we lived in NH) on top of a long, very steep hill.

My own truck was a 1975 GMS C2500 in gold. Loved that truck. 350, 4sp, power brakes, no power steering, extra heavy rear springs (prior owner had a camper he carried with it).

Why am I here? Well, besides the enjoyment of seeing so many great rides, I have some questions I'd like to ask; for example little details about Dad's and my trucks that I have forgotten over the years. Also I've been watching some of the restoration threads. The work that many of you have done, to essentially create brand-new 50-year-old trucks, is astounding.

So I'm very happy to be here!
