Hood alignment

Done some searching and can't find anything definitive to this problem, so reaching out on our 1972 GMC hood gap.

I think I have validated we have the right year fenders, cowl, and hood (OEM) upper grille, and hood (aftermarket), but I still have this gap. No excessive panel gaps from fender to doors. What advice or measurements do you have to assist with minimizing this gap?
