Window seals and felts
I'm dropping my Suburban off to the painter this week and I plan to rebuild the vent windows and sliders while he's got it.
I see there are several different kits for the wing windows from $45 to $165 I only see a few options for the sliders from $110 to $530 https://classicparts.com/1955-66-sub...iABEgJU2vD_BwE https://www.steelerubber.com/front-s...kit-90-3349-90 It looks like Steele Rubber is the most expensive and if I order all of the seals and felt I need from them I could easily spend $1500. My question is, is it worth it? I used some Precision brand weather stripping on my 51 and it was pretty good except the door seals. they didn't fit.
