skokie Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2003 Location: San Jose Ca. Posts: 3,387	Oil dipstick for 350 I have a made in mexico crate 350 engine in the 68 and I believe that the dipstick is too long. The dipstick is 24 inches long. I changed the oil/filter, put in 5 qts and its reading like its 2qts overfull. Can anyone tell me how long the oil dipstick should be. Pics are attached of what I have. Thanks!
