55 1st hood emblem and chrome grille? Where can I find them?
I'm buying hard to find parts as I build this long term project of mine. I haven't been able to find a hood emblem for a 55 1st or a complete chrome grille for the same truck??? Any help?

The link for the grille didn't work for me? My hood emblem is there, but some idiot used sandpaper on it, so maybe I can just re-chrome it? Also, I found your site on your 54 the week before I bought my 55. Sweet truck! I was gonna ask you about some of the stuff that's on it, but I'll PM ya about it sometime.

I don't know what happened, but you were right -- that link was messed up. Try it now (above) -- I fixed it.
I don't know if you can rechrome your emblem without seeing the scratches ... ask a pro to be sure. Feel free to ask me anything about my site right here, if you want. |

 Like I said this is a project, so if I don't want to go through the trouble of fixing the small dents I have in my painted grille, I guess I'll go with the sweet looking chrome one....
