Hmmm... I never had one leak before. All I can think of is to try couplings from a different supplier... maybe a slight manufacturing defect unseen to the naked eye is involved. In any case, I wouldn't trust the sealing qualities of teflon under this kind of pressure. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a fitting that can't seal on it's own... at least on the braking system
