Nothing on my truck. Had family in town from southern Oregon. My sister who lives near me got arrested Sunday, so we had to deal with a large mess caused by that. Hopefully get my truck out of the garage next weekend...HOPEFULLY.

Count another one for nothing on the truck. I have other projects taking up the time, space, and money earmarked for vehicles. I did get some painting done on the last few bits of the Cougar though, they came out nice. Just a few body color pieces yet to do and no more sanding and spraying until I start the next one.

However the 76 will be finding its way on the highway this summer, one way or another... Its just too cool of a truck not to drive it.

I did nothing but sit on a beach in Ft. Myers lol. Spent time with the fam and worked on my build plans. Now I'm in Pigeon Forge trying to relax after driving the past 2 days from FL. We leave here Thursday so I might be able to get some wrench time in if my wife lets me lol.

Re: Its officially the first weekend of spring what did you get done 3/21/09

Saturday I watched my daughter play volleyball all day. Went to the local cruise night that evening. It was freakin huge with hundreds of cars. Walked a while but started feeling really bad so I went home.
Sunday I tried to run errands. Go the oil changed on my driver and headed home.

Spent the rest of the day in bed sick as a dog. Feeling weak, but better today.

fired my 81 shortbox and 86 iroc-z up after sitting for the winter. Things went extremely well. Also got the windows tinted on my daily driver.

Re: Its officially the first weekend of spring what did you get done 3/21/09

Well, I'm only home on the weekends and since this past week was spring break for me I thought with the help of my friends I'd have the truck running by the weekend.......I also forgot to factor in the fact that it was.....Spring Break

Got this far, hopefully by next weekend it should be running, although I've been saying that for the past three weeks.

Re: Its officially the first weekend of spring what did you get done 3/21/09

Went to the city and picked up a reciever hitch, grant steering wheel, and a good ol SunPro 3-1/2" tach, got the hitch installed, wired up trailer lights and brakes, and installed the tach. Hopefully tomorrow i'll have time to do the steering wheel. Also went and looked at a 76 3/4 ton 4x4 chevy, might pick it up for a axle swap.

Re: Its officially the first weekend of spring what did you get done 3/21/09

Friday afternoon I went to check on a 6.2L for a donor engine for my newly aquired "Camo" K5. He should be pulling it out in the next few weeks. On the way there I had a tire on the Crew Cab seperate. He let me use his spare to go get new tires for the Hummer H2 wheels I have been sitting on for months. Finally got them mounted that evening.
Saturday I drove to Nashville TN to pick up a Fulltop and a windshield frame to convert my Blazer to fulltop. Stopped by the TN guys meet for a short time and had to run. Got home in the dark,

Sunday I replaced my pitman arm on the Crew Cab and started cutting the nasty patches on my Jimmy.

Monday I got new tires mounted on my Impala SS wheels to put on my R10. Should have them installed soon. (left the lock in my Crew Cab and it is getting an alignment)
