temp sender wire?
On the '76 1ton GMC I just got(454,th400) the temp sender wire looks like a resistance wire.(VERY small gage with the cloth covering) Does this sound right? Thanks

should be dark green as almost all years were. the cover may be the heat resistant covering. that's all. as faras I remember the the sender itself is the resistor. I JUST installed a 76-77 sender in my truck with a standard wire and it is showing correct temp. crossy
