Re: WTF 2wd Blazer PreRunner?
I actually like what's been done with this one a lot more than the lowered ones, but that's just my preference.

Maybe it was rebuilt (put back together) from a wrecked blazer back in the day and 'saved' from the crusher, even a purist should be able to be at peace with that...? However if that's what you want to call destruction, count me in! |

Re: WTF 2wd Blazer PreRunner?
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not really familiar with desert racing. What's the advantage of a 2WD setup over 4WD for this application?

Re: WTF 2wd Blazer PreRunner?
SPEED 4x4 slows you down and limits travel up front, 4x4 is not needed on most the trails, just a good locker in the rear! keep in mind your sailing over bumps at 80-90-100 mph, a straight axle would get bent or broken in a heart beat!

Re: WTF 2wd Blazer PreRunner?
Back in the`80s these things were already being cherished.Back then a 10 year old vehicle was considered old.Emissions, aerodynamic styling, plastic, and cardboard had taken over and we felt the early`70s/late`60s were the last of the good ones,as we still do now.Back then you could buy a muscle car for a couple thousand dollars and at least that much for a nice Blazer.Every day vehicles were hundreds.
