pressing in control arm bushings

What is the best way to press in the lower control arm bushings? I don't have the special c-clamp tool like the old service book shows. I tried to push them through with an impact gun on the nuts of the cross shaft but it only pulls them in so far. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: pressing in control arm bushings

I just bring em to a machinist and have him press them in with a hydraulic press
