Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
ECE makes a bent super track bar. I had the same problem as I was putting mine together. ECE took the straight bar back and sent a bent one.

Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
I went to ECE's website and don't see anything there. Please take some pics and what was the price for the bent one?

Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
Hey guys...sorry about taking so long to get a picture up. Here is the picture of the bar.
Call ECE and ask for Stan. He is the guy that did the fitting for the bar when I got it a few years ago. If I remember correctly the bar was about $25 more than a straight bar. I don't remember what I paid. If you need pictures from a different angle let me know. Last edited by Alex Hayley; 10-24-2010 at 07:35 PM. |

Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
can't ya just move the brackets back some..
I'd think a small piece of 1/4 angle plate or ? on the rearend side and move the frame bracket back would do it? |

Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
For the ECE bracket, I just got a longer bolt and moved the bar to the rear side of the bracket. I also installed a metal sleeve where the hym joint was originally located, to prevent the bracket from compressing/collapsing. I can post some pictures later. This is not going to be my final solution, but it will allow me to get my truck back on the road until I have time to design a better bracket.

Re: Aluminum differetial covers ?
I did infact talk to ECE today they do offer a bent bar for this type of issue. They will accept my stock super trac bar back in exchange for there bent bar for $30. If the bent bar they supply me with still dose not clear they said they would fab me one up that will. Thanks again Alex Haley for letting us know. John
