superchevy
Thank you for your input, again! Just to clear things up a little more...my business is selling parts here at the shop, like my post reads every time I make an entry. Like a lot of us on here, I do offer some items that need to be picked up. They are aimed more at the West Coast guys that are in the region. Look at the other guys offering big parts for sale, "must pick up---cannot ship". This is a "one horse" operation and the horse is getting tired. I will take into consideration how you think I "should run my business" and I will continue to offer items on the board that I think might be of interest or that someone is looking for. Thank you all for your patience.

my67c20, think of me when UPS delivers them, think of Frank when you sit on them.

Frank is was a pleasure talking to you it is nice when some of the old pros will help out some of us who want to be old pros someday. I just have the old down pat so far. Maybe by the time I finish my 72 GMC project I'll go semi pro.
Thanks again Frank for shipping the seats. |

DONE DEAL!
Seats are boxed and on the way to both hambone and 67c20. Cost $40 to make two boxes for each. cost $112 to ship to NC and $88 to ship to CA. The only little glitch was one of those cheap little GM pot metal handles on the seat slider broke off, so I offered $20 refund...should be an easy piece to make and much nicer out of something like a stainless rod. It just attaches with two rivets. Hope they both enjoy those seats. They do look cool when they are finished...I hadn't planned on letting two sets go, but this thing got a life of its own. Yes, I did save one set for me!!!

seats
It is a pain to ship seats but I thought this board was to help out a bunch of people with the same interest not to get rich. I shipped two pair of buckets from Ohio to Memphis Tenn. it cost around $35 to ship both sets UPS. It cost less if you ship in peices not in one big box.

I dont see a problem with the price at all, actually I think its a pretty good deal. about the same as a hood or bedside.
Hats off to frank for the great customer svc. thats what this board is all about.

shipping!!
Working for a freight company for a living you'd be surprised how many people ship seats and other parts, saw a complete frame the other day. The best way to do this is to have you're freight listed as a "WILL CALL", this will save anywhere from $35-$50 on the s/ment. If the person shipping/selling the seat is willing to bring the merchandise to the carriers dock this will also save, as all billing(freight charges) are zip to zip. Make sure you class your product as USED not new, much cheaper. The company I work for has terminals all along the west coast and into ID, NV.

Uh huh! "Rich man on truck parts"? That's one of those misnomers, like "Army Intelligence"or "Government Service".
DC: I still have that nice set of blue 69-70 buckets. You can buy them with or w/o the console. The pics were on a thread a week or so ago...or here they are again. $300 for seats & $75 for a perfect blue console--no cracks. I can do the same shipping arrangement, if it will help you.
