Re: Help keep me motivated!!!
I took my Truck off the road for at worst 2/3 weeks for some needy repairs...3 mths later it's still on jack stands no tranny & half the engine stripped to pull the cam, and it is killing me not to be able to drive it, I can't imagine what on earth 5 yrs would be like....wait I'm supposed to be cheering you up here
From your avatar she looks like a beautiful Truck, just think how lucky you are to be this close to the Finnish, admittedly you did not want to be moving backwards at this point, but it's only one of those PITA POS CS MF things that are sent to try us all, and remember your not all the way back at the beginning like a lot of us. I hope that was inspirational....

Re: Help keep me motivated!!!
weircc ... not sure what to tell you. I purchased the Circuit Rider in 2000 and started to save $$$ so I could have it worked on so some day it would be drivable. In 2008 I found a body shop that started a frame off and now I am (actually fine69) in the final stages of mechanically fine tuning the Circuit Rider. I think by reading about others who were going through similar situations kept me going. With being mechanically challenged and now holding down two jobs I wasn't going to do it myself. Oh I can do the basics but welding, painting, and major wrenching is beyond my skills. Sometimes it’s ok to stand back and take a deep breath and getting recharged. Just take one step at a time.

Re: Help keep me motivated!!!
Comp did the same thing to me. Take that lump stick and send it back to Red at comp and tell him to put it where the sun dont shine. Then go to Lanuti and buy a cam you like, you wont be disapointed. Just put it in your head to get it done and go do it, you will be glad you did

Re: Help keep me motivated!!!
Just be sure to use a good oil with Zinc in it or you will wipe out lobes.
