Re: how low do you guys think my truck is?

Solution = measurements
Stock height with stock wheels, measure to the center portion of the wheel well.
Front = 32"
Rear = 34"
Measure from the ground up, the difference is your drop.

So what is your drop?

Thank you very much, I'll measure tomorrow.

Believe it or not I had posted threads requesting those measurements about a year ago and they died postless,

Re: how low do you guys think my truck is?

I put shackles and hangers on my truck originally because I use it for what it is, a truck. I tow a 26' pontoon boat from storage to the water and back, haul boards, dirt, and everything else a truck does. I'm getting ready to flip the rearend only because I want a new look. I doubt I can pull the boat after I do this(maybe) but my point is everyone wants a little different look or has different uses for their truck. It doesn't make them a retard or stupid.

de arched springs are usually done intentionally with heat not the best choice, its been a method used since the beginning of automobiles, there's nothing wrong with your drop method

As low as I can without bags, or spending ridiculous amounts of money. But I'll settle for almost as statically low as possible if I can do it easily enough

Buy a kit for the front with a 2.5 or 3in spinde and a 2in drop spring for a 4.5 to 5in and the front will be covered.

For the rear get the flip kit with shock extenders.
Doing it this way you dont have to spend extra money on drop shocks for front or rear.

The only issue is your current leaf spring condition. If your leafs springs have been dearched you may not have enough room between the top of your leafs to fit the axle with out a c-notch. Same thing if you have a drop shackle.

If you dont know just buy a set of junkyard leaf springs and you should be good to go.

Re: how low do you guys think my truck is?

take a look at the front rear leaf spring hanger and see if its bolted on or rivoted. It might have drop hangers, few leafs removed and cut coils up front or lowering coils.

Looks like 2/3 or 2/4 to me

I'm thinking it's not nearly low enough, you're half way there.
