Can't see to the left that well with 2 so good luck with 3. I have a feeling this is why auto meter never made any yet. Made my own, ran me 20 bucks. |

Re: Pillar gauge pods............ Any interest?
One thing first off, your gauge pod you built doesn't have the gauges level. That's why you can't see them. Second, I highly doubt that one more gauge will kill my view. I drive a 05 Dodge everyday, (With a triple pillar) go drive one of these and tell me about obstruction of view. Or even try a ford super duty out with their big mirror bracket right there. Finally, Auto Meter never built them because they never had much of a call for them. I've talked to them several times about getting these made.
As far as keeping a group buy together, we'll just have to see how it goes. If you don't want one, don't worry about it.

Re: Pillar gauge pods............ Any interest?
Another thing, even if the top gauge is hard to see, I could care less. It is better than on the floor where my other gauges are. I'm going to say that these triple pods should be fine set up correctly.

Re: Pillar gauge pods............ Any interest?
The guy I was working with to get these made said the company he uses was too busy to do these. I'm trying to find another route with little luck.

Re: Pillar gauge pods............ Any interest?
I contacted Autometer today here: http://www.autometer.com/contact.aspx
and expressed my interest in the 3-gauge pods. If enough people do the same, they will make them... |
