Re: Got 22's ?

Ken, I thought your truck had 18's on the front with 20's out back? I'm sure you've posted it a million times but what are the specs on your wheels? I'm pretty sure they're Budnik Famosas correct?

Your having flashbacks of the wheels on my 82 Blazer. Thats the combo that I originally bought for it about 10 years ago.

My 77 is running 20" Billet Specialty "VinTec" wheels.

Re: Got 22's ?

We're running Porterbuilt front with Michigan Metal works Uppers and lowers. Rear is MMW 4 link with a watts link. Wheels 22x8.5 5.5 BS W/265/35/22 Rear is 24x12 4" BS W/305/35/24. This is full layed out. I'm a big fan of staggered billets on a square body. Truck is a 79 with a 77 goodies up front.

Re: Got 22's ?

I think the big wheels look SICK on a truck laid out like the Reyna Bros. Unfortunately where I live the roads suck and I have to have some sidewall to protect my wheel investment,so 20's will be the biggest wheel I can live with...

Yes! Love the paint scheme!

N2trux, how much would you sell your setup for?
Will it fit a stepper that is z'd and notched to lay frame?

If you go with 22s will these 20s be going in the for sale forum? Or will they be used on another project?

No problem, I think you and Jim have the cleanest 77's around, you guys are the reason why we build this 79. I'm starting an 80 that will have the 77 nose also that i think you guys will like.

Chris Thanks for the kind words. Your last build was nice, but this one raises the bar quite a bit. I am looking forward to seeing the 80 project.

Between your trucks, Le at Rheas, Jose and the crew at Drops-R-Us there are some really nice squares on the scene. Throw in what Hills is rolling out and its tough to get noticed these days.

Guys- "If" I go with 22's, I have a couple of people that have first dibs on my 20's from a long while back.

Couldn't of said it better! There are things I have actually been keeping a secret so they don't get done before me!
