Re: Noob. 67 shortbed stepside DD

Felt like putting this up. I pulled my truck out and parked it next to a customer's 78 shortbed. What a height difference

Here is the color scheme I decided on for the engine. The reast of the truck will follow with rattle can Flat Black. Very slow process. Anywho, let me know what yall think.

perfect for an interstate battery I've always loved a gloss green against black or flat black

I really like that color combo and Nice truck!

...but do yourself a BIG favor and get rid of that air filter...it's foam and if you ever have a backfire it WILL catch fire. I know from personal experience...you don't want to get your truck finished and have it burn up....

Thankfully I was tuning the carb when it happened and I could throw a rag on it but it went up QUICKLY...

I saw it after I took it off. i painted it just because. It was melted a little so it's out. Cant wait to get the engine out, painted, and reassembled so I can start on the body work.

Pretty slick truck for sure... I'm working in Gaffney, SC durring the week and usually home on the weekends if you need a hand. I'll be bringing my "find" home this weekend so hit me up if you need any help.

Re: Noob. 67 shortbed stepside DD

Ok. Work is rediculous right now. But, we have a 1998 ( I think) Tahoe for parts. I was wondering if the disc brake setup would work on my 67. Taking the control arms and everything. Along with the Booster/master cylinder, tilt column, and trans. Seeing if it's possible. Let me know
