I had dual fiberglass tanks outboard of frame (saddle tanks) filled through wheel wells. There were no senders in these tanks, therefore no switch on dash. It had the 3 way valve next to drivers side of seat. This was on my 68 C20. I couldn't drive 95 gals worth of miles without having to stop for bathroom break anyways, so wouldn't need it.

Thg owner used it to carry a small camper and tow his jeep into the backcountry. The truck was a base camp and tanker with a transfer pump for the fuel.
