Re: throttle linkage in TF with a 250

I took my linkage( from my 235) - the pivot L and turned it up side down - and bolted it to the bolt hole that holds the original clutch pivot bracket to the block( on the 250) - will be two bolt bosses . I cut off the accelerator rod that comes from the Gas pedal to the L pivot . Bout 4 inches - works like a charm and even looks factory. This is in my 1951 3800 pickup - but it should be close -are you using the late bellhousing - and new mounts or the early V 8 bellhousing that sits on the cross member?? give me a Phone number / e mail and I can send you a picture.
