Tubbed stepsides
OK, I'm thinking about eventually tubbing the bedsides of my stepper to fit 18x12 rears. I'm still in the "thinking" stage of this as I'm not sure if I want to cut up my bedsides yet. As of now, I may use stock fleetside inner tubs to do this, but I'm open to other ideas. Let me see what you've got.

Re: Tubbed stepsides
I'm interested in this down the road as well. I would love to put a 315-335 out back eventually.

I've got the same plan up my sleeve. I found 3 fleetside inner humps at a swapmeet for 50 bucks. Haven't made an incision yet though.

Re: Tubbed stepsides
Yeah, if I go this route, I'll be building a Ford 9" to go under it at the same time.

Re: Tubbed stepsides
Yeah, I bought some Billet wheels and was up against tubbing my stepside too. I had decided on Fleetside tubs to keep a more factory look. I was never gonna narrow the rear for this project, whoo! I eventually decided against it, and posted my 17"x 9.5" wheels for sale this week. I'm gonna keep rockin' the Rally's for now..
