Re: 71 Cheyenne 4x4 - Final Restro Stage
UPDATE:
For starters, it turned out that the torque converter bolts had worked loose and the clanking noise was the TC bouncing off the flex plate. So the motor is working great! Since then I have had the motor tuned and man she has come alive. The body work is finished. My buddy talked me into a spray in bedliner and Im' glad he did. Truck is going to stay flat black for now. I'm happy with its new sleek look. Just finished installing the front gears. I will be installing new hubs this weekend. Then for the first time in 6 years this truck has been an operational 4 wheel drive truck. I've also been working on getting the truck ready for mud season. I am in the process of fab'ing a semi waterproof undercarriage cover. Here are some current pictures(more to come):

Re: 71 Cheyenne 4x4 - Final Restro Stage
Got a little update for you guys. After talking with Stan and Mark at E.C. they referred me to a guy who does good work on our outer grille shells. So here you go. The exterior of the truck is almost done. Depending on finances this summer I am still hoping to get some paint on her.
