I have been researching for a little while and even more so since you offered the sale and I came across this thread that said a drop spindle was available in post #22 and #26 by Rob.

I also wanted to ask about the motor mount truss. It's available for 55-59 I beleive, but wasn't sure if this has filtered down to the 63-87 IFS as well...

ulakovic22 What kit are you wanting year and air or coil spring? I don't think a drop spindle is needed. How low you want it?

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

I have a 67 C10 and I pretty much want it to look like yours, but I wanted to see some of yours at ride height to be sure. Currently I just have stock suspension, 5 lug on bags/shocks with 2.5" drop spindles up front and a c-notch in the back.

Between here and Pro-Touring I have good info, just wanting to be sure before I drop $3,000+ ya know.

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

Breaking new we have been invited back to Optima Shootout!!

Texas was a great event! It was great meeting some of the guys off the board.

On a performance note. The truck is really coming around. After some tuning with Rob and some setup changes. We kept gaining on the clock. Me and Rob shared our trucks with each other to help us both gain info for tuning and driving styles. It is a very unsettling feeling sitting in your passenger seat but also very big respect factor with each other to hand the keys over and say go fast as you can driving. Rob is a great wheel man and I learned a new driving style from him.

A few things to point out.

1 The trucks are running as fast or faster then the pro cars.

2 They all have No-Limit parts wrapped in Ride Tech Shocks.

3 My truck is super Fast on AIR YES AIR Ride Rob and Jimi Day both said the same thing they would not have known it wasn't on coils if they didn't know it already.

P.S I have All NO-Limit parts on sale 10% off

There are new videos on my facebook.

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

Are you still offering the no limit parts on sale? I am deployed to the desert for the next 9 months and am building my trucks suspension up. I would actually like to buy a front and back setup no limit suspension setup with coil overs for me truck.

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

being a dealer helps. that wideride is 3295 on the website. looks awesome.

Its so hard trying to figure out ride heights. Yours looks really low aired out. lower than id ever want. But your ride/race height looks perfect.

But on the website it says the wide ride will put the rockers 6" off the ground. Yours looks lower than that at ride height and way lower aired out?

The website also says there are drop spindle options but since you dont use them I dont see getting much lower than you are already. I guess that would let you "lay frame"?

anyway... nice truck!!

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

Does no limit make a front anti sway bar for my 64 gmc swb fleetside stock lca, drop spindles, 2"drop springs, ... I don't know what else would matter... 8" damper on sbc350, factory power steering, the front crossmember isn't modified or nothing. I was just wondering how to find parts from them and if my truck on drop spindle and springs meant I needed a specific sway bar?

Killer truck and congrats on tearing it up!

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

I found em, has anyone discussed a preferred size? Hotchkis' bar is 1 7/16th, no limits is 1 1/4, same as ride tech, and then there's addco and hellwig coming in at 1 1/8th. I believe all the of the larger bars are hollow and I'm unsure of the other. I do know ride tech had a steel bar and hellwig has chromoly. No limits is a lil more affordable than the other big names. I would like to purchase theirs, should I order through the forum? Is members deal offered or should I just go through their site? It's .net by the way. Lol

Well, I got the number to call and discuss. I'm sorry, I thought this was a no limit crewmember.

Yes, we have a front sway bar for the OE crossmember and stock patterned IFS. Drop spindles and springs are OK. Yes, our bar is 1 1/4". What is really important here is the "roll resistance" in pounds-per-inch. This can be changed in many ways. Bar diameter, material, solid or hollow, total bar width, arm length, and finally the mounting point on the A-arm (motion ratio). The OE style, and some aftermarket bars mount to the A-arm with a bushing and strap, while this is inexpensive, it causes the sway bar portion of the suspension to be in a bind most of the time, masking the shock dampening. Link style connections are much better. Our C10 bar rates at 730 lb/in of roll resistance with no bind in the link mounting. The OE bars come in around 570lb/in, if free to move, but can be tested as high as 800 lb/in in full suspension bind (not good). Hope that helps.
BTW, Smitty's truck IS as fast as it looks!

Re: No Limit Wide Ride install by Smittys

Thanks rob no limit. And I apologize, I was thinking this was a no limit thread. Anyway, awesome, I plan to buy the no limit anti sway bar this evening. Can I call around 7 or is that too late? I might also purchase the rear bar if it was compatible with leaf springs and a 9". Thanks guys.
Oh and I bet his truck is super fast! It looks amazing and I know y'all are some pros. Thank you for helping out the lil guy
