Re: DBW pedal mounting bracket

Rob,
I received the Gen IV throttle bracket. It's a nice idea, but I was disappointed that the holes didn't line up. Hopefully this is a once only situation.

Here is my 71 throttle pedal compared to the Gen IV pedal.

You can see when the original pedal bracket is placed on top of the new one, it doesn't line up. Bottom hole in line… Top ones don't match

The holes would have to be re-drilled or re-worked some how. Top left hole in line… Others don't line up.

Top right hole in line… Others don't line up.

I had the same issue. Triangle pattern on my 72 Blazer was not equilateral and the Escalade pedal doesn't match the truck shape either.

Several people have used the bracket for there square body, it just depends on which pedal you are using.

All brackets are drilled for both bolt patterns (67-70/71-72) now, so there should be an issue with it bolting up. Thanks for posting.

Re: DBW pedal mounting bracket

My '72 gas pedal has the NON equilateral triangle bolt pattern (approx 1 9/16" top spread and 2 1/4" to the base hole).
If I read correctly... your brackets now have this floor mount bolt pattern as well as the original pattern for all the different pedal applications. True?
Thanks
