Re: HELP! I'm having second thoughts on current set up.
The exhaust hangs lower than the frame currently. About 2" I would guess.

Re: HELP! I'm having second thoughts on current set up.
I agree that I prefer the older engines, no offense to the ls swaps but they are everywhere at shows. Kinda cookie cutter engine bays. Lots of reasons why they were done...performance, durability, etc.

Re: HELP! I'm having second thoughts on current set up.
If it hangs down now and doesnt rub you will be fine. Will be easy to get it in there. You can tuck it up, but it might need alittle more work. How about a side pic to see it? I would go for it. Just put the stock parts away on the shelf incase you ever need them to go back to original. I cant belive i waited this long to do it.

Re: HELP! I'm having second thoughts on current set up.
I talked to tom some about the direction and costs of turbo applications. Seems outta my price range at the moment.

Re: HELP! I'm having second thoughts on current set up.
Well guys, since lil ol goldilocks was voted the TOTM for step sides I've decided to leave her just as she is and not change anything on it unless it breaks.
I guess the folks who voted her TOTM appreciates originality somewhat. There was a lot of stiff competition in the contest and I thought she didn't stand a chance. Thanks everyone who voted for her. I appreciate it. Ya'll know what this means right? It means now I gotta look for a third truck to have as a project. At least that's what I'm telling the Wife. Lol.
