Rear gas tank install question
I have been all over the sight and internet looking for an answer i put the LMC rear mount gas tank in .I have the filler neck installed through the bed .The sending unit had the gas line that goes to the engine .It also had a second fitting on the topside of the tank that i guess could be used as a return line for fuel injected .Mine is carb so do i plug this fitting or can it be used as a vent? Thanks Oz You can see it next to the frame rail upside down of course!Buying a camera as soon as i can afford one the truck is killing me in parts !

Re: Rear gas tank install question
Here is an example of the roll over safety vent valve, there are several different sizes.

Re: Rear gas tank install question
One is for a drain return and the other is yes for the vent. You can run the 3/8 tube all the way up to your canister in the passenger fender if you have one. you can also get a vented gas cap and leave the hole in the tank plugged.

Re: Rear gas tank install question
if youre putting it in the bed floor right over the tank , it will back fill fast. I put my marine style filler in the driver rear stake pocket. Works good.
