I have the divorced choke setup on my 65 but I installed a manual choke instead of using the divorced choke. The original 2 Jet had a manual choke so I used the original choke location and installed a new choke kit and drilled a hole for the wire to fit into the choke arm. The new kit came with a mounting plate that I mounted on the manifold. Works great! The quadrajet and manifold were off a 67 so it is close to period correct. The problem with that year is they used the under carb heat setup so had to block that off. Now the carb stays relatively cool.
