Sorry, I misspoke about where my buddy was from. I had asked him about the dealership and he said there was no such dealership from where he was from. I re asked him where he was from and he said he was from Whitesboro, Texas.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers

Not an emblem, but I did find this under the seat of my truck when I was tearing it apart for the first time. I believe it's the dealer it was purchased from new. (I got the truck from the original owner who lived in N. Dakota)

I'd love to hear more about this dealership if anyone knows anything...

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers

I'd like to have a new decal like this made. Any ideas who/where I could have that done?

Not sure on how to get a sticker made... But I sold this takeoff tailgate a while back. Thought you might find it interesting.

Lots of GM wheels were painted Argent Silver.
Eastwood sells this, along with others.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers

1969 c10 bought (or possibly traded for work) by my Great Grandpa from Huckabay Chevrolet in Midland, TX. Sticker is on the tailgate. Really wishing I could find pics of the old dealership or other memorabilia, but so far nothing has popped up online.

Slight side track here but, Would you mind if I used the info on that build sheet to add to our build date project?

Hell yea!! I know where that one was! It’s called airport auto now. A guy I work with has a 67 GMC short bed that was sold new there. It’s never left Farmington.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers

Thats pretty cool man looks like it was a small dealership. Wouldnt be surprised if your swb 4x4 didnt come from there as well. That snow sure melted pretty quick it was nice to see your truck out in it out and about finally.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers

Haha that snow was crazy, i woke up to 3 inches, it melted between 11-3. Then it started snowing again and we had 3 more inches before 6. Woke up yesterday to another inch on top of the 3 from the night before. Then all melted before 12 crazy NM spring time weather! Yea it’s definitely possible mine came from there. I’ve been driving the K20 everywhere up here for about 6 months now. It’s been a ton of fun.
