Re: 73-87 DBW pedal bracket?

Bringing this post back from the dead.
I never did try to re-work my pedal/harness wiring. I was too afraid of screwing something up.
Has anyone been able to use one of Hart Rod's 67-72 brackets for a 73-87 truck with a little work?
I have my pedal working in my truck now, but it sits way too high up, and is un-comfortable to drive for a long time.
