Re: The Definitive 67-72 Seat Swap Guide Thread ....
Here is the progress I've made on my '69 C10 Stepside. Seats / console are from a 2011 Chevy crew cab in titanium leather. Self designed door panels and dash pad have been made to match by Cy-Fair Upholstery and Glass. Center jump seat cushion is a JL Audio Stealthbox also covered to match.
Installation was straightforward. Drilled (8) ~5/8" holes, used 3" diameter 1/4" thick cadmium washers under cab floor, with lock washers, stainless steel industrial grade bolts and cupped washers on the seat track provisions. I'm 6'-4" and the seats are very comfortable. They are 8-way power so they go forward, back, up, down, tilt bottom cushion front or back, etc. I would not install these generation seats without power as you will not have the height and bottom tilt adjustment without power. They also have manual lumbar. A tilt column is a must for entry and egress. Power is achieved with a 12V power and ground, that's all that is needed. I also ran a dedicated 12V and ground for the factory 12V power supply in the console.
