Re: Wiper motor replacement
Glad your second new wiper/washer worked well. I bought rebuilt wiper/washer assemblies from two different vendors and neither one of them worked properly. Both had intermittent washer problems. Ended up disabling the OE pump and installing an aftermarket pump. So far, so good.
Very nice engine compartment you have there! (Insert simple "thumbs-up" emoji here if I could find one. )

I also added a Floor Switch that activates the wipers momentarily for when you just need a couple of swipes - I love it!

I've had mine apart several times and watched it work & fail on the bench (using a 5 amp 13.2 volt power supply). If I could replace a few parts, like the nylon pawl, I think it would work properly. Problem with the re-builder is they probably can't get all the parts, either.

Re: Wiper motor replacement
Any detail about how you disabled the OE pump and what aftermarket pump you used Mike?

Here's the pump: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Well, heck. PictureTrail won't let me upload any more photos unless I pay an annual fee to upgrade. Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you photos of the parts I removed and the finished installation. No fee required!

Re: Wiper motor replacement
Thanks Mike! Sorry OP if this is a hijack of your thread, but hopefully it will help others. The first pic is the pump Mike linked, then pictures provided of the parts removed to disable the OE pump, and his installation of the aftermarket pump.
