I've noticed that, too. Even GM can be wrong. Somehow that's what people started calling them. I grew up hearing and and I guess I used to say it, until I thought about it. There is no wheelcover that covers less than the full wheel. If it doesn't cover the full wheel it isn't covering the wheel. So simple but we humans like to make things more complicated. No biggie, just found the title funny pulling out all the words so all could understand.
