Here is a link for the specs on the Dorman web page.
just scroll down once you click on the link. Appears to be 12.4 inch long by their measurement. Link: https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-30383-77202.aspx

On the upside, I did find something that will work perfectly and nobody would ever know the difference - Leather belts! All you need is a leather belt from the clothing store that is 1" wide. You will need at least 30" of usable length, in order to have enough. Otherwise you won't be able to set the slack where you want it. So you'll have to cut off most of the end of the belt, that has holes in it. You could spare one hole though, in order for your screw to go through. Kinda nice cause then you've got leather ones. And your choices are almost endless. I've been looking at people who have fixed cars (miatas and porches) and it looks great. But on the 73-87, you must make sure it's only 1" wide. Any more than that and it's not going to fit. You might be able to squeeze 1 1/6" in there. https://www.etsy.com/market/stitched_belt Last edited by bennylava; 03-05-2023 at 11:43 PM. |

Re: A question about the door pull straps
Eric makes these awesome aluminum door-pull handles and has been making them for years.
https://www.facebook.com/K5blazerdoorpulls/photos I just ordered a set for my 1980 Chevy K20 SWB 4x4 pickup.
