While you pull that one to check the metal clip, hit up the dealer for a new lock cylinder on the passenger side. They can use your key or the VIN to pin it out to match. Then replace the passenger side lock cylinder since you'll have recent experiece on the driver's side.

Get new pawls and clips while you're at it for both lock cylinders if you plan on keeping the truck a while.
