Looking great Scott! You are making a ton of progress. Are you going to run the wire bundle up on top the firewall like the factory? I am thinking about doing that, but I don't like how the ignition wire comes down the center of the firewall to get to the distributor if that makes sense.

The picture of the engine bay in my last post has everything for the engine wired in it. I sealed up the channel on the top of the firewall so there was no place to route wires in. In this pic you can see where I ran my wire loom for the coil, tach, and electric choke behind the engine/top of the transmission to right under the distributor. Then in another loom I ran the oil pressure and water temp sender wires to those sensors and routed it adjacent to the frame rails. The black split sleeve loom helped blend all the wires into the black frame and wheel wells.

I went a little crazy on zip ties, but they make everything look clean and organized. I still want to wrap the wires showing coming out of the fuse block a little better at some point as well.

That looks clean Scott! I may try that rather than go over the top of the firewall. What did you use to seal up the edges of the fuseblock? Is that seam sealer?

This is what I used around the fuse block. I have plenty left if you want a couple of strands.

Looks like Eastwood is relabelling "3M Strip Caulk", ...great stuff for sure

Just a few things got wrapped up this weekend. I dropped the starter and got the power and solenoid wired, finished routing the rear light wires to the back cross member, and I finally got the parking brake installed.

I had to modify the cable on the parking brake a little bit as I tucked the exhaust up and that interfered with the stock routing. I ended up making a new passenger side bracket from some 1" flat stock and welded a threaded rod on the end to replace the long rod that way hitting the exhaust. Or course I couldn't find the clamp that holds cable to the parking brake assembly, so I had to order a new one. I'm sure I'll find mine after it gets here. I had found the bolt for it, but the clamp wasn't with it. I'm sure I put it somewhere safe I get a picture one night this week.

Hopefully some lighting parts will show up this week so I can get the grille bolted on the front and see some bright lights and blinking

Great progress. Hooking up the battery will be a big milestone, and it looks like you're getting close.

Just got the front windshield and rear glass installed. They look great! I paid an auto glass company to do the job. It was cheaper for them to install and provided the glass and rubber seals than it was for me to buy the glass and rubber alone, so it made sense to pull the trigger and have some pros do it. 2 dudes showed and it took no more than 20 mins to do both front and rear installs.

Lights and bezels get here tomorrow
