The general issue is the width of the lower mounts being further apart then a typical truck frame.

You could get ladder bar lower links after you cut the lower bar bracket off, and it would be a damn fine base to play with.

I am using the Crown Vic 8.8 in my 54, but its a 210 post. I am adding 9 inch ends to it to use cut to fit axles. Although I am keeping the leaf springs for simplicity.
