I think you have the same 350 I have been considering(zz4 block ). I want to use the air gap even if it is just for the looks of it. just some thing cool about an intake u can see through.

Actually the regular RPM manifold with an oil splash sheild under it will work just as well as the 'air gap' performer if you wanted to save a few $$ and keep the heat off of the manifold runners.
My vote goes for the RPM non air gap with the iol splash shield ($12 at your local Chevy dealer).

I belive i would get a professional products intake I belive them to be as good as edelbrocks and alot cheaper price you can catch them on ebay pretty cheap sometimes
The performer Rpm CLone is called a typhoon i think? and the rpm air gap is called a cross wind. check it out its good stuff and comes polished for only 30 bucks or so more. |

There have been some quality issues with the Professional Products intakes in the past. A few guys have gotten porous ones.

Thanks for all the input guys. I just brought home the RPM Air Gap. I figured this would leave me a little room to grow if i decided to step up the cam and spring package and hopefully not suffer too much on the bottom for now. I have the Performer RPM on my set up right now with stock heads and a mild cam and it feels strong on the bottom.
