Re: 67c10 build
You're doing a great job on the metal work!! That's the one thing on my 67 that I'm not looking forward to.

Re: 67c10 build
Today's a new day so I hope I have better luck with these pictures. Bad pictures can really make a build thread so sideways, haha. Cab is officially done! After nearly 4 months I have finally completed the metal work. Went with ppg dp40 and it turned out great. The fact that my cab is rust free feels like a huge accomplishment.

Re: 67c10 build
And here she sits. I had to throw on a fender to see the stance and I love it. I'm finally happy with the overal look. I'm really getting excited to get this thing going. Unfortunately there is no way I'll meet my goal of this summer. If all goes as plan I'll be driving the wheels off it next summer. I'd like to tell you guys the color but I really can't decide. I've had this almost 2 years now and can't pick a color and stay with it.

I bet that little big block can't wait to breath again. Wonder what kind of mileage I can expect out of a set of tires??

Re: 67c10 build
Mocked up a piece of my new mar-k trim. This stuff is sweet. The quality of the box they ship it in is worth the cost. The shine is no comparison to others. Hope to hang the doors and frot clip this week so I can get everything mocked up. Hope everyone likes where this is going...

I can tell you I love where it is going, looks awesome. I laughed a little when I read your comment about picking a color. You sound like me

Man its looking good. Don't worry about the color, one day it will just hit you as to what it needs to be.

Re: 67c10 build
Classic for sure. I want the truck to pretty much be stock looking. All the trim emblems etc. I'd like to stay 67-72 colors, not real worried about just 67 color. I've been thinking about medium olive and white below my trim

Re: 67c10 build
The truck looks great.
All the time you spent doing the metal work really payed off. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. I can't wait to see what's next. |

Re: 67c10 build
Thanks again guys. I honestly did the metal work because I don't have the money to pay someone. The shop I asked for was looking for 4k to get my cab ready for paint. In the end I learned a good skill, saved myself alottt and feel I did a better job. All underlying medal was cleaned and primed. I ground all the welds on bottom when I did the inner rockers so the repairs won't stand out.

Re: 67c10 build
Thanks Keith. I have a big side job lined up with a painter so if all goes well we will trade labor and both buy supplies.
Thanks kyle, I really wish this could get one of your paint jobs I think the truck really deserves it |

Re: 67c10 build
Made a little progress tonight. Two things I hate are aligning panels and bad gaps. Therefore it takes me forever to accept the way it's hung. Also I try to give feedback on good products and with that in mind I'm very happy with the fit of my dynacorn core support. Hey the cab even became a custom tonight. Honestly I just like the emblem...

Re: 67c10 build
I like those emblems too. I thought about adding them to my 71. Not sure about it yet since I don't have any other emblems though. Looks good!

Re: 67c10 build
Custom emblem looks good, I'm thinking about adding those to mine too. I was thinking about your medium olive/white thought and I think it would look awesome and also very unique cause I don't remember ever seeing it on a slant nose

Re: 67c10 build
Thanks guys I really like them. Medium olive was a 69+ color so it's rare to find a 67/8 that someone painted. There's a 69/70 med olive/white that lays out on intros that is beautiful, I'll have to post it up when I get home for reference. Now that I actually have a partial truck assembled I'm getting really excited to get this done. Just pulled 37hrs ot this pay period and hope to save it all for paint.
