We used to use elmers Carpenters glue for doing layovers on floors SO they wouldnt creak. Its good stuff once it hardens up.

You could mount the amps under the seat and that would give you more room behind the seat. Also make it harder for some to steal them.

I'm with Mike on moving the amps toward the center. What about adding space on the end for some 6x9's or some seperates firing forward?

I have 2 sony 1000 watt amps, and put the seat all the way back in my silverado(77). I was gonna run the 2 subs off one amp, and run the alpine 3-ways off the other amp. What kinda 10" subs will fit? I only drive it occasionally, and my wife doesn't understand the money I sink into it, but hey, it's my "toy"
