Here is a link to the site for the hinges. Scroll down to hood and then hinges.
http://www.sachserodshop.com/catalog/ How is the fitment of the hood with this type of hinge? Is it a tight secure fit or is theis a little lift and movement in the rear of teh hood? Thanks for any info you can give. And again pic's pic's pic's Kevin |

Few pics of the Sasche Rod Shop hinges and 67 hood install progress. Had to cut the firewall out and weld in new plate is reason the firewall has body filler on right side its just a skim coat i gotta knock down and prime. Gotta finish hood install, fab rear floorboard, and do all the bodywork (skim coating whole truck after hammer/dolly work and strippin to bare metal/epoxy priming) then ima remove engine build wheel tubs and refinish all of it again including the engine block and intake.

gheto, looking gooooood! I'm putting the same hinges on my hood, but what's up with the 67 hood? Does this hood fit without any mods? If not, how did you modify it? I'd like to borrow that idea on my burb. I like the slope of the 67-68 hood. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks, I am going to order mine next week!
What have you done to get it to the hight it is at? Mine Has a 2" body drop,"Z"ed frame, notch in back that needs to go about 3-4" bigger, 3" drop spindles and bags. What are your plans for inner wells? I am going to section the inside of the fender and raise it up 2" (the section you removed) and this will match teh body drop and I hope I will be able to use stock inner wells. Kevin |

Stock inner wells arent gonna work depending on rim/tire size, where they roll down on the inside is where the tire is actually gonna be sitting. Probally could totally reshape em and make them work though. Ima use trailer fenders and fill back in around them where they attach to the fender so its really clean.

Ghetto,
Didn't you relocate the shop??? I was in Lexington, then Durant today and passed by the old location a few times. I thought you mentioned that you moved up the street a ways. So....where did you go? I wanted to drop in and say "Hey" and maybe get another look at the burb. EDIT: Oh, by the way, it is really coming together & looking slick!!!

A mile south??? Holly crap. We literally drove 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile south of the old location before turning around. Man...we must have been within 100 yards or so. Doooohhh.
