Do you have any pics of the rear suspension? I am about to start on mine this weekend, and am trying to make sure I am on the right track.
Thanks Robert |

Bout to finally finish the 67 hood install, fab rear floor in it, and do the suicide doors canti 4-link. Also gotta weld up all the trim holes, few small rust spots then strip rest of body and get it in Epoxy so body filler work can begin. I plan to skim whole body and block with long boards get it really close then start priming/blocking till its perfect. Paint plans have changed as well: doin it the Saffron on the bottom/black on top section with airbrsuhed chrome trim with candy green w/ water effect insert. Hope to have it in final paint by end of the winter. Wish me luck LOL

The lowered, later model 69-72s really benefit from a '67 hood. Keeps the truck from looking boxey.
Nice work. Looks like you can crush walnuts with the tranny xmember.

Yeah it makes ants duck hahahahah. I custom built the tranny crossmember flush with the bottom of frame and tucked everything so nuthin hangs below it. Frame lays flat and pinchweld is 1/4" off ground when lay'd out.
Thanks for the props guys |

Looks mighty fine. Do you have a photo shop or sketches of the paint scheme?

What did you have to do to get the 67 hood to fit? I thought the lines wouldn't match up w/the fenders? Could you have still used stock hinges?

You need the core support for the 68,the fenders, hood, hood latch, and grill. As long as You have it,it is a bolt on.

I have all that so it shouldn't be a problem.... I have two 68's and the 69. One 68 has a banged up front corner and the other (clip donor) is just a body and frame. As soon as I pull the parts I need I will be selling the two 68's off. |

Nice job! I am a truck guy but that is the nicest burb I have seen. When you get a chance please load some pick of the hood hinges and more info on them (where, how much anything you might do different...). I need to do this to my 71 as well. Right now the top of the inner fender is my bump stop!! I need to section this area and relocate the hinges. Also do you have any frame shots front and back. Here is a pic of my piece sittin on the rotting 15's. I have 17's with 335/35 rears and 245/40 fronts but I also want to step up to atleast 20's before it rolls out of the shop. What is the widest 20 or 22 you have seen. I have plenty of room to go larger then 335's and need to check my options. Oh and sorry about it sitting so high I had to lift it to roll it around, my hinges get in the way.. Thanks for thinfo and any more pics you may have.
