Thumbs up Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

The KYB's are about 8 months old. Not much mileage on them. Very nice ride.

Thanks,
72longbed

P.S. Anybody want to buy my Custom made rear Air Ride Suspension?

Exclamation Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

I'm in the position to trade parts of equal value for a nice, working, preferably Re-Built front driveshaft for a 71/72 K10 or K20 that goes between an NP205 and Dana 44. Since my parts are all practically new or recently re-built, I'd be looking for a driveshaft that doesn't need any work if possible. Shafts that need U-joints, and so-forth would be worth less in trade. Slip yoke must be in great shape.

Any horse traders like me out there??

Thanks,
72longbed

decade22ten,

I tried to respond to your PM, your box is full. Need to empty some so my message will go thru. UPS says it's 15.00 to your location. I'll try to PM you again later.

Thanks,

Here's another, it allows for the exhaust to be tucked up higher than the stock crossmember:

Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

I think I have a nice fan shroud for you off a 72 K5 blazer 4x4 with sbc. How much would you knock off price of that 14 bolt?

K5XJ,
I'll work with you on it, but I need a couple of things first please. 1. I'll need a depth measurement from the radiator out to the lip where the fan enters the shroud. If its not on the K5, you can lay it flat on the ground (side that goes against the radiator down), and measure up to the engine side lip for the proper depth measurement. 2. I need the diameter of the opening for the fan at the smallest entry point.

If it's the one that I need I'll be glad to take some $$ off the price of the rear for you. Do you have a front driveshaft in good working condition for a 71/72 K5, K10, K20??

Thanks,
72longbed

Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

CORRECTION: The Trans. Crossmember is made by BowTie Overdrives and will fit 700R4, 200R4, 4L80E, 4L60E, 4L80, Turbo 350, and probably Turbo 400. Really Cool mount, gave me the ability to 'tuck' the exhaust up high. Here's another Pic of it:

Here's a Pic of the custom designed rear air ride suspension (one side), I've decided to sell the setup because I don't need it on the 4x4. I put a lot of time and $$ into the R & D of this system, and it works awesome. There's a Thread in the 67-72 Message Board with all the details on it. Will sell all parts and secrets to it's design for 395.00

Thanks,

Was playing around with the 2WD chassis today and found that the rear air suspension kit will function well anywhere from 6" to 15". Meaning the height from top plate to bottom plate of the 'airslave' (bag). This system comes with all of the necessary mounting hardware and air lines. Works very well for those of us who tow a trailer, haul heavy loads, or just want a very smooth ride at whatever height you desire in the back. This system is built around the 3200 lb capacity bag. Will work on C10, C20 or C30 chassis. Cool thing is it rides smooth with no weight or fully loaded.

Thanks,

Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

Posting some Pics of parts tonight, hope it helps those that are interested.
Thanks,

These are for the front axle, 16" rims. They are in excellent condition. A little Mothers aluminum polish would make these babies really 'POP'. No dents or dings.

Here's a Spicer Hub. Large hub for 3/4 and 1 ton front axles. In good working condition. Great to have a spare.

NEW ITEM:

Almost forgot I had these: 3.21 ratio ring and pinion practically new for a 14 Bolt Full Floater rear axle. GM and aftermarket gets a 'boatload' of money for these. I'm selling them for 195.00

Thanks,

Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

Terry,
the only difference between them is the overall length that it extends out to. What length do you need?

Re: Chassis and/or Parts For Sale

Terry,
I'll take a measurement on it today. Do you have the mounting plate for the pass. side trailing arm?
