that actually looks factory. you have a broken mast as well, eh? I had to buy the repop from Chevy Duty, but it fits great and looks factory.

Well now that I have looked at yours 70'GMC, both of mine look like your antenna. The one on my '72 and the one on my '70 look like yours, I'll try to get a picture of them both.

My K/20 Suburban has the original radio antenna mount with the round chrome retainer nut, and it has a telescopic whip with a spring that screws in to the base. The spring and whip can't be separated so it must be factory. It's now on my pickup since mine was broken. Oh yeah I have a radio shack 102" stainless whip and spring for my CB so this truck looks like it's back in the 70's

From what I see in the pictures they look just like the one on my 70. I've had the truck for 27 years and it was the one that was on there when I got the truck. Someone could of replaced it before I got it.
