Bentfab
Are you the same one that did the hardlines on the '73 Camaro for David F. called Project F-Bomb?

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
if you are doing the hard lines with the flared nuts what are you using to go to the pipe fittings in the tank and the valves?

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
Any adapter that go's from the proper pipe thread to the - size you are using. Example 3/8 pipe to -6 ( 3/8 tube or hose) in a str, 45, 90. Pretty simple and strait forward.

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
Awesome work bentfab. I have just about finished my system with 3/8 stainless so I know how hard it it to work with this stuff. The pictures you've post look amazing. Could you please send some high res pics of the project to me? I would like to use them as my wall paper! smashingchuck@hotmail.com

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
Wow! I tend to bolt things down after I get the lines bent, I couldn't begin to get multiple lines to run parallel and all end at the same place. Awesome work!

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
We did this project about 7 years ago. The clamps were in house items. But we don't use them any more. We have a new clamp that we use. We sell them in sizes 3/16 thru 1/2. Very simple and strait forward. Drill a 9/32 hole and push it in. We also sell S.S aircraft quality seamless anneled tubing in these sizes 3/16,1/4,5/16,3/8,1/2,5/8,&3/4 Also a complete line of performance hose and fittings from Red Horse performance. As for the fittings They were S.S. and I also supply them.
Check out the web site for more info www.bentcustomandperformance.com Thanks Mark

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
Can I ask why you run two mufflers per side on the Ranchero there? I'm curious because i'm planning on running a similar side -exit exhaust on my 59 step side.
Is a system that much more noisy with a short tail pipe like you get with the side exit that you need to run another muffler? -Andy |

Re: hard-lined air ride..........
Thanks for the info. The plastic clamps are nice but I wouldn't want them poking through a stock frame that is not boxed. I think I might order some though for certain parts of my truck. Thanks!
