I think it looks like a mean sumb%tch.!!
How about the stereo system? I see what you mean with the sanding and buffing. That looks righteous. Last edited by highperf4x4; 05-29-2009 at 09:35 PM. |

Re: 70 gmc
Hey man it looks good! Keep up the good work. As far as all the orange peel, I am not a paint guy, but it looks like your presure is too high on your gun or you are too far away from the truck when you are painting. I am sure there is something you can do that will help that.
They do look good after you wet sand them! I will following along! Looks good man!! Vex

Re: 70 gmc
That's pretty close to my tires. My fronts are 255/60/15 on 8" and the rears are 295/50/15 on 10". Also Cooper Cobras.
However, my Big Block is not very close to yours! What are you going to do inside the bed? Mine is all rusted up and I'm trying to decide which way to go with it. Maybe a rhino lining or something. Last edited by highperf4x4; 06-07-2009 at 01:28 AM. |

Re: 70 gmc
Wow thats a good price. I haven't checked on mine yet but I will probalby haul some stuff from time to time. Say, did you have to deal with any rust on the bed floor and if so, what did you do to get rid of it and prep it for the rhino liner?

Re: 70 gmc
Alright guys got the paint wet sanding and buffing done. Have it mostly put back together also. took the bbc supercharged out for a spin for the first real time, felt awesome. Heres some pics for the thread.
Heres a pic of the 1 inch square tubing i welded in right in front of the hold i cut. it added alot of strength and the hood is as strong if not more than stock now. |
