Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
Man Chris, you're not far at all. Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it. Can you do body work? Some of the guys here at work said the San Jac. College used to look for projects to work on. I may check with them about the body work on my panel.

Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
Thanks for the input, man you guys here know your stuff. Its gonna make this project a lot easier. As soon as I get the cab and bed sold off the truck I will start to compare the frames. It seem that the front are the same, and the next set back are different. I think the location might be the same, but the mount itself is longer( sticks out farther) on the panel. And the rear, I haven't even looked yet. I put the bed on Craigslist last night and got five emails about it, it seems like parts for these trucks sell pretty good? Anyways, thanks for all your input, I'm going out of town tomorrow so won't be on for a week or so. Hope you guys have a good Thanksgiving.

Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
just realized that it is a 61 and a 66 ; I believe that the 66 mounts are also spaced out a little further sideways

Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
Looks like a project all right!!! About your pics....the error may be that the pics are too large. Need to be downsized; I do mine 50% from original.

Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
Hey guys a change of plans, After my Turkey day trip, the wife and I were talking, and I need to get other projects around the house done this winter, so both trucks are up for sale together. I'm going to throw them in C.L. today. If any one knows any one that might be interested, let me know. Thanks for all the input. After the home projects, I'll just try to find another truck.

Re: Panel truck or Pick up?
Maybe not, I got a call from our insurance man today and he said to call him on Wed. he had good news. Maybe we'll get a little reimbursement from the hurricane damage and I can keep the project......Wishful thinking.
