Re: 69 High School Cruiser/DD project
Made some progress. Bought a motor off a buddy, it is a 350 tbi out of an 87 suburban with low km's. His burb is a big mud truck, lifted on dana 60's with 37" tires, oh and covered in mud.. Pulled it, cleaned it up, painted the block put some full length flowtechs on. Waiting on my intake manifold thats on its way. Also got hei, msd's, and holley 600 vacuum secondary for cheap.
So here it goes, out with the old in with the new writing on oil pan = my buddy dented it, wanted to make it known that it was not me

Re: 69 High School Cruiser/DD project
So today, got the truck driving, backed it off the hoist, was running strong. Took it around the parking lot for about 10 mins, then it began to run like #$%^... Checked the timing, its 15 degrees. As of now it wont idle, so i am going to have to do some testing tomarrow

Thanks, well, once the front discs are on it is road worthy. Since i have brought the truck up from the states it needs to pass provincial inspection, so stuff like exhaust exiting out the side, all the lights working all that fun stuff. Hoping to have it done by october.
